Don’t worry Mora, Randal will always be your BBBFF. Loyal puppy is loyal! But will Alejandra return? That’s not so sure it seems…
  • fff

    She's a monster.

    • Bucc-i

All women are monsters… at least one week out of a month!

      • Victor

Are you gay or a douche? Either way, not cool XP

      • waldosan

if women can be monsters then men can too, and we don't need a specific week out of the month to make an excuse. or, y'know, we could act as level headed adults and say that both men and women have their strengths and faults by default and anything extra is a product of their childhood and personal decisions.

as for the comic i feel like i'm missing something, was there like a bonus comic that halfway explains wtf a "bad prime" is supposed to be?

      • Razmoudah

@waldosan: What either gathered from the previous comics is that the Narakhan were allied with the being(s) (I'm not sure if the singular or plural is correct there) who destroyed the Primes original homeworld, then tracked down the survivors and destroyed Earth in the ensuing battle against them, and probably would've gone on to destroy many other worlds if they hadn't been eliminated in the battle over Earth. I guess the best way of thinking of it is that the Narakhan's are a sub-race (society?) of Primes who are collectively the 'Evil Super Villain who only cares about destroying the world.' And I'm not using the word sub-race to imply inferiority or anything, I'm using it in place of the word breed as I don't know if all of the different types of Primes can interbreed or not (and even if they can that still doesn't exactly mean that they are all the same species anyhow, we have plenty of examples of differing species that are capable of interbreeding with each other already anyhow).

      • Commander Clash

There IS a male version of PMS called IMS — Irritable Male Syndrone, it is a REAL medical condition.

      • http://tumblr.com philly

        Fuck you Bucc-i!

      • Vincent

I concur, and I don't care what people think since this is JUST a webcomic and Mora is fictional person. Regardless of what she faced and suffering she endured, doesn't mean she should be allowed to do what she wants, fuck nearly every guy in the farm, and break their hearts. I'm not saying all women are bad and men are not (especially arrogant Minos) but Mora is a slut. I personally don't like her yet and some people may agree so stop trolling on THOSE people first.

      • Vincent

That was a nice, well-deserve moement, I will admit and Mora could use some emotional support. She needs to become a better person and she's on the right track

      • Huh?

        @Victor
Your chewing someone out for being a biased jerk……… by calling them "gay"?

      • waldosan

        @HUH?

yeah he is, because no amount of progressive thinking can get rid of a taboo as deeply ingrained as this one in less than 1 generation. personally i don't care what you do with your lives but don't go complaining about it when no one seems to take you seriously. if you wanted respect from your elders then you should've thought about that before you started taking it in the ass.

      • Huh?

Hmm…………….. wait what were we talking about?

      • Hallucination

@MIBvictim dude Islam is not a violent religion the terrorists are just assholes who needed an alibi, albeit an extremely crappy one

    • Victor

      Dude, NOT. COOL. XP

    • http://tumblr.com philly

if shes a monster than that means the US is a terrorist country,
Al-Queda is humanity's savior, Racism is a great idea, Jewish people
are the devil's worshippers and the Mexican president is Charlie Sheen.

Dude…. learn to shut the fuck up, or else someone else will!

Sheis not a monster! She's misunderstood

      • Kurai

maybe you should take your own advice?

      • kes

I don't know about the rest of it, but the US is a terrorist nation. CIA operations overthrowing governments were not run by no Easter Bunny.

      • MIB victim.

Ahh, kes. The drugged out 60s Hippy, all those drug induced paranoid delusions and hallucinations finally catching up to you? Last I heard, the US doesn't blow up civilian airplanes by slamming them into buildings while yelling "praise our wonderful sadistic murderous god who promised us 72 virgins for killing infidels!"

      • Mikko

        @MIB victim
Yes, because that is the only way terrorism functions. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, so just don't or by the very least at least look up what the word means first.

      • brefin

I find it amusing that the person accusing others of having paranoid delusions is named "MIB victim".

      • Hallucination

@kes you are aware of how terrorism works right? Ir's not just overthrowing a government, it's targeting civilians and causing TERROR among the nation

    • http://none Vengance

shut the fuck up asshumping cunt hater!!!

    • Fern

Lol @ everyone taking this comment seriously.

Some people are simply too easy.

      • DarkVeghetta

Idd, some ppl don't get dark-ish humor. Or troll jokes. Tsk tsk tsk.

      • http://tumblr.com philly

dude. if you gonna judge what people think then get lose!

      • Fern

        @Philly
That may possibly be the worst way to save face I have ever read. I shouldn't judge what people are like from their actions? How else am I going to make my own judgements? Reading their mind?

      • Rogue Dusk

It always takes at least one troll to incite a smoldering flame war…and they've unfortunately won.

    • Bucc-i

I'm sorry guys, but I don't trust nothin' that bleeds for 5 days and don't die.

      • LCD

Oh, I'm sorry we have to go through menstrual cycle for the human race to reproduce. :/
I'm just going to assume your a guy who doesn't understand the pain some girls have to go through during their period (I included). And it is a choice made for us, not like we can just decide not to bleed for a week each month. Please don't be so rude and sound so ignorant in the future, as I found that very offensive.

      • Kurai

I love how everyone is taking this so seriously and getting their panties all bunched up. Ahaha, jesus christ.

      • Spiritwolf15

Seriously dude, for your own good STFU. You're making yourself look like an ass.

      • Ters

God bless you sir for having a sense of humor. A seemingly rare trait among commentators here.
I had no idea people reading a story about a bunny-cow and friends took everything so seriously.

On an unrelated topic: <3 Diana Linda!

      • Katzy

I'm just gonna assume you're a troll, and you've been super successful at pissing off a shit ton of people, xD well played my dear.

      • Fern

They're still taking you seriously. This is hilarious.

People, I'm pretty sure he doesn't actually think like this. It's just a menstrual joke. It's one of the oldest jokes in the book. HOW DO YOU PEOPLE NOT GET THIS?

    • Ignix

Have you even seen the rest of the comic?! If so, you should know she isn't a monster

    Awww,love this.^^

Anyone else love the shock on moras face…… anyone

    • Zarylo

      I do ^^

  • Lizzy

aaaaaaaaand Alej's hair is back in the ponytail. I dunno, something about her face in that first panel looks…off. maybe it's the hair? I can't really put my finger on it. however, I love the way Mora's hair is drawn in the second panel. I really don't trust that Alej will use this information as blackmail, but I get the feeling that Vincent will find out somehow and cause further problems for Las Lindas. that's only if the story continues to have semi-cliche plots, though.

  • BlakBrbrGuy

Hey, guys, is it just me or does Alej look blue? Cause if its just me then I'm seein some trippy things.

    • http://janelon.deviantart.com JaneLon

Yes, she is. I guess Chalo decided to use dark blue color instead of pure black. But I'd prefer PURE black

  • Bleu_Ace

Mora, you are no monster. It takes more to become a monster than being the progeny of one. Believe me, girl, a monster, you are not.

  • LH

Awww, he's such a good brother to her. <3

  • astersa

do not think she monster, if no digit would have on their side.

  • http://dezraffy.deviantart.com DezRaffy

If she IS a monster then that'd be weird… because she has Digit…

    • Slyfox

hmmm.. Why does a Dark Digit suddenly seem like an interesting idea to me?

      • http://www.furaffinity.net BlackWind

Because the Idea of a Dark spirit being the reflection of the owner's soul would be admittance to being a monster
And that kind of thought is NOT uncommon, anyways we still have to see how the revelation of Mora's tale will impact Alej and see how that would reflect on her NZ artifact now

      • http://dezraffy.deviantart.com DezRaffy

        That's be cool too

    D'awwwww :3

  • Obfus

Ya know, seein Mora's semi-breakdown here after having this secret dragged out of her kinda got me thinkin about how the whole "narakhan" thing informs some of her attitudes. I mean, if you suddenly found out you just -might- end up turning uncontrollably evil (or something like that, details are still hazy here), I can see how an overly self-serving, pragmatic attitude could develop in response. She wants a sense of control over her life that was suddenly taken away when she learned her heritage. So she over-reacts and basically becomes a domineering bitch. Maybe I'm performing crazy mental gymnastics here, but it makes some sense to me.

    • Thagrahn

Mora is the result of a Prime breeding with a Narakhan, which could mean a lot of things.
      1. Not all Narakhan's want to destroy everything, their personal goals can be as simple as those of some Primes.
      2. Some of the Narakhan's regret the destruction of their own home planet, and are trying to make amends.
      3. Narakhan's are not actually evil, but for some reason can't control how violent they are.
      4. Narakhan's could actually be something from someones screwed up lab experiments, and the records of the experiment where destroyed with the Prime Home World.

  • Alex C

Is Mora a monster? She could become one, but being different doesn't automatically make for a monster, its their actions.

  • Bucc-i

Come on Randall! I that was your chance! I don't care if that was my adopted sister or not. If that was me, I would have at least have copped a feel!
    I'm mean… dat azz.

    • Spiritwolf15

The bipolarity and content of your comments worries me man…

  • Explosion Zuruck

Hatred? No…. Hatred is a strong word… No, the path of life goes on, even as we sit there, crying in sorrow. Having a laugh with friends, and family. Reminiscing in memories with old comrades, about the war from long ago. Or merely sitting down in the coffee shop drinking a hot, but soothing beverage. Life waits for no one.

And due to that, we must follow her, as she calls our names to move forth with her down the road she follows. And with all the hardships she may face. One thing is for certain. We as friends, family, even comrades. Will be together till the end.

This is certain….. for all of us.

  • http://www.kitsune-realm.com Kitsune-Realm

Randal is such a kind person, I wonder what Alej is going to do with this info though.

    • http://yearofthecow.petitesymphony.com OtakuMan

If I could post my complete analysis, the looks of it appear that she's going to go back to Alexandria Dairy and do one of the following:

      1) Use this newfound information to re-analyze what she dug up on the Lindas family back when she was trying to get revenge on Mora. She got bad intel when she read Idward's book, but she did other research, extensive research, before she ever approached Mora, and after as well. By utilizing the resources of the Dairy in secret (something she did before when founding Alexandria), she will try and figure out where Mora's father is being kept, and why. Odds are good she'll discover that Minos was originally sent by Ambar to spy on Mora to see if she could be a threat.

      2) Same as above, but instead of using the Dairy resources, she instead quits outright; probably putting Tootsie in the position. She then takes her knowledge to Mora to try and piece together the puzzle that she's been working on for years.

There's lots of evidence in the archives that hint towards this for a LONG time.

      • http://www.kitsune-realm.com Kitsune-Realm

Its indeed more than likely that Alej is going to delve deeper into Mora's father and his whereabouts. I am not sure if she is still trying to overrule the Las Lindas farm by extending her company, but since she still owns the lands its more than likely she will build. (away from Diana's grave)
Its going to be very tense at the farm, and I am hoping that they will coorporate together. If Alej is going to use the "Las Lindas Owner is a Narakhan (decendant)" card, im certain Ambar will intervene to avoid any chaos.
Also, it has not been proven yet that Minos is working for Ambar, nor that he is spying on Mora.

You are right, im really eager to figure out what the writers have come up with! :3

      • NeoVictorian

Except I don't think Alej bought the land with her own money, but the companies. Thus, the land belongs to the company, not her. If she is removed, then you have a board of directors with no residual love for Mora/Mora's mom/Las Lindas and a need to turn that red ink involving the land black again.

  • Hfar

Yeah it's cliched but you know what? Sometimes a cliche is not such a bad thing.

    Daaaaaw!

  • Albert

Well no one can deny that no matter what you think about this twist that this a is a very good reason why Mora didn't want to tell anyone about where she was or what she is doing. She kept it from them because she was afraid of what they would think of her. That they would see her as a monster and she would be ostracized if it ever got out that she had had tainted blood. Just image what everyone including the Primes might think of her or want to do to her if they knew she was the daughter of the enemy.

  • Zack Hisakaru

Randal is such a good guy, I'm glad he's around in this series

Mora…well, if she is a monster, or just super powerful, it is very interesting and answers a few questions. why would a crest work at the farm in the first place? if he didn't show up to

plus he would work there to make sure she doesn't harm anyone…

Since my comment overloaded the system, I'll have to do this in parts. In response to Kitsune-Realm:

I might have an idea on that. This might be a tipping point to indicate whether MossKat/Curran are going to Retcon anything, but if they aren't, here's what I think:

At the beginning of LL, it had been so long since Mora and Alej had seen each other, that Mora could barely remember her due to how much Alej had changed.

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/invitation/

Alej remembered the past, but not Mora. And true to her name, "ColdThorn", she came across as cold, calculating, and business-like: all parts of "Building an Empire" which SHOULD be one of the Bonus comics being continued more regularly to explain what happened between when Mora left and when Alej started her company.

As we now know, Alej wanted to buy Las Lindas because she felt that Mora didn't DESERVE the farm. She blamed Mora for her own mother's death, and felt that she did not deserve to have all the good things that seem to keep being handed to her. This was her plan: she just wanted to oust Mora from Las Lindas because Alej thought Mora was not good enough for it.

But back when Alej met with Mora again after such a long time, she said something; something that this recent turn of events reminded me of:

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/a-deal/

"My father never was happy with what he had like yours was." – If Mora's father left before Mora or Alej, were ever born, then HOW does Alej know that Mora's father was content with what he and Diana had on Las Lindas?

"Mora, do you know of the contracts your father signed with the Gossamer Agriculture Department?" – This is another curious thing to say. This implies that Alej looked into these contracts, which would have to be older than both her AND Mora. This also is a strong indication that she did research into Mora's father herself.

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/shameful-rivalry/

"When I heard that Las Lindas would have a successor, I was pleased. But when I watched your farm rot away as you whored about town for half-a-year, I knew you weren't deserving of what your hard-working family built." – This means that at first, Alej was happy to know that Mora had returned, but kept her distance for some time. As she continued to watch Mora, she got more and more frustrated because she thought Mora was disgracing Diana, something she couldn't stand. But again, Alej says "…your hard-working family…", but how would she know if she never knew Mora's father? (Unless she counts herself and Randal as the family)

Also, note the strength behind Mora's punch. That there is a bit of a clue.

Things calmed down until Alej was ready to buy the farm after the bank impounded it due to financial issues. She even wanted to burn Mora more by offering Minos a job:

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/the-other-offering/

Which of course led him to walk to speak with Ambar, who he knows quite well.

Mora did not take the news lightly, and showed another sign of her inherited strength:

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/breakdown/

    and again:

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/breaking-news/

It's around this time that Mora's also convinced that James is the reason for Alej's grudge; not because Alej believed Mora to be an insult to her family.

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/some-things-are-simple/

It's also been my theory that Minos has been spying on Mora on behalf of Ambar because of her father; to see if she could pose a threat. Ambar shows a bit too much knowledge when Alej thinks to herself in the last panel:

    http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/coldthorn/

    To Be Continued…

    • http://www.kitsune-realm.com Kitsune-Realm

Seeing the old art in the comics makes me want to read LL again more carefully from the very beginning.

      http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/invitation/
I think that in conversation Mora was beeing sceptic because Alej does not have the same personality as when they were friends.

Alejandra wanted to buy the LL farm far earlier, but Diana refused to do so.
      http://laslindas.katbox.net/archive/in-the-open/
Still, you are right about that Alej believes that Mora did not deserve the LL farm, and it has been the sole purpose of her trying to knock her off.

"My father never was happy with what he had like yours was."
This sentence is indeed a little confusing, but it does not imply that Alej's father could not have had this opinion before Mora's father left. And the fact her father was never content, must have stayed that way until Alej and Mora were born.

"Mora, do you know of the contracts your father signed with the Gossamer Agriculture Department?"
Hmmmm, you are right that Alej must have been able to look upon in these contracts, but such a contract does not mean full access to personal data to person who signed it (but I dont know what Neo Earth's policy is about personal data sharing)
Mora's father can sign a contract and the other may invest to investigate about my criminal record, but if there is none, its just a farmer signing a contract.

      "…your hard-working family…"
The reason she must have said this is because she had admired the LL farm from the very beginning. Not only was she very fond of Diana, but her own family could not best the LL farm. And seeing as how Alej herself has build up her empire in the bonus comic Building an Empire (indeed sadly set aside in the bazaar for now), she must have made this comment in retrospect to her own methods of working.

Haha, yes many people are making that theory about Minos, in the forums someone even suggested that Digit was adapted by Tiare (who works for Ambar Industries) to spy on Mora.
Anyway, you should come to those forums (unless you already are), so more people can join in on these thoughts!

  • lonlonman

    Very interesting indeed.
But i'm worried about what will alej do with the knowledge she's just been given..I guess only time will tell.

Wow I never thought the cowlady would breakdown like that. But I guss it would shock anybody. To know your father a was a monster.Shes scaired that she might turn out like her dad.Like orion the son of darkseid.I think mora will not become her dad.Now there is a certain wolf that might cause trouble for mora and every body else.I am gonna go out on a lib here.I don,t think patchs is gonna cause more trouble for mora. That is I that am hoping for.

    that was too much READING!!!!!

      Really?

poor mora, thinks just cause her past got outed that her friends will get farther and farther away from her. hopefully her puppy friend (sorry i for got his name) will get her to think differently. at least alejandra is getting better.

Randal ("Rannie" to girls that like him)

  • http://yahoo.com Lone-Wolf

I think the poor girl has been through a horrible experience when she seen her own father. The lass had every right to keep her past behind her & from her freinds, to see anyone that pure evil was probaly the worst thing she ever seen in her life. Even a wise man once said keeping a secret from your freinds can be a terrible burden to bare. She has every right to cry & those who are calling her a monster have to be ashamed of yourselfs for if that was your father you seen in that room you'd be doing the same thing from your freinds & loved ones.

    • Albert

I agree with you. It is obvious that Chalo made Mora the way she was to eventually improve on her character as the story progresses. But people can't let go the original portrayal of what she was and want to keep hating on her no matter how much she matures or grows up along the way.Mora haters just want bad things to happen to her no matter how much more you find out about her or dispute any sense of empathy or mercy or consideration she shows. Look at the time Sarah practically destroyed the farm and Digit and Rachael showed what an boy stealing opportunist she was. She could have easily have throw them out and no one would have blamed her.But she showed she was the bigger person and showed them mercy and allowed them to stay. But despite this the Mora haters can't see this and only concentrate on the flaws that make up her character and NOTHING else. This part was to show that she had been suffering even more then people even knew she was. All of Alej's pettiness pales in comparison to this and now the haters are mad because we find out that Alej really isn't the one that has been through hell and back and it's Mora that has been holding the enormous burden all this time. Mora's problems trump Alej's childishness, jealousy and irrational behavior. Now they see this and can't cheer on Alej now without realizing that she was the one being unreasonable and paranoid all this time. You have no choice but to have empathy for Mora now and it is eating them up and they are fighting it tooth and nail

  • TK

Now, I love LL's art and half the cast, and I admire how Chalo is willing to try all sorts of dramatic angles and unorthox layouts even if they don't always work but…I'm just gonna say it: The ending wasn't earned here.

I mean, yeah, it's good that the story would eventually have Mora and Alej come to an understanding -if not make peace with each other- and we find out what the hell Mora was up to prior to the start of the series…but…

In terms of how it's presented, this ending just wasn't earned in the way the story was told. It comes off as cheap and forced. It's a good ending, but the story didn't get to it properly.

The root of Alej's many problems is broken down as "Mora abandoned her sick, dying mother to find out what's up with her (assumed) deadbeat dad." Compound this with a huge time gap where Alej built up her own business (and we've seen glimpses into just how hard THAT was) while Mora sold herself and selfishly pursued after her father. And when she gets back, honestly, *alot* of stuff was outright *given* to her as she knits together a surrogate family out of her 'farmhands' while Alej bitterly looks on.

Not to mention Alej is also humiliated, put down, and nearly betrayed at many a turn whereas Mora's problems have be resolved in sitcom fashion. Hell even Taffy and Miles have to live with the fact their attempted romance *failed utterly.*

So yeah, when Alej and Mora finally have it out, this ending sucks because it shouldn't work this way. You can't have all of Alej's grief, her feelings and her assault outbust that should have resulted in serious repercussions be handwaved by Mora saying effectively "Oh yeah? Well my dad it turns out is an evil demi-god.! So there!" And then everything is heartfelt apologies and hugs and understandings.

That's a handwave. It's not respectful to the story that's been told up until now. Now, I admit that with a page-a-week deal, it can be *very*, *very* difficult to pace the story out, and I'm not asking for perfection here. But this still needed to be longer or at least more unresolved than it has been. Otherwise, Alej is right: everything DOES get handed to Mora without her earning any of it.

    • Izeya

This has to be the best, well thought out comment that I have ever seen kudos to you man.

    • TK

Wow, and it isn't even me :)

There be to TKs here… dang that is gonna get confusing.

  • FlameLordKay

Long wall of text is long. I mostly read all of this and frankly am not going to bother trying to reply to most of it. I will say that anyone saying this ended in sunshine and rainbows should go back over the last several pages. The closest Alej came to apologizing for anything is when she freaked out at the thought she might have bashed Mora's head in. While she may not have been a complete ice queen she did not say she was sorry or even expressed any sympathy towards Mora. In fact she seemed very likely to be of the opinion that Mora is a monster and is only leaving now to regroup and come up with some new plot. Wether that plot be good or bad who knows.

Speaking of good or bad Mora IS a monster, but who ever said all monsters are bad. Just because Godzilla fought off giant monsters didn't make it any less of one. Its also pretty obvious that Ambar knows all of this already and has taken steps to try and keep Mora from turning to "the dark side". She even sent a monster to look after the monster.

  • Makai

    Eh

  • AbyssKing

    Good page. I like it.

  • jeremycanine

this just explans why you kick so mutch Arss mora

  • Albert

@ Izeya. Oh please. Just stop it. What hard choices did Alej make? She was a conniving person and got her way to the top in the most sneaky of ways breaking into people's files, lying and everything else in between. She conspired against Mora every step of the way and never EVER appreciated what she had and what Mora didn't. Mora was living at the edge of poverty and all Alej was thinking of is how to take the rest of it away from her. Alej is invited to fancy parties, on first name basis with Primes, she lives in fancy house and has her own company. She is like Lex Luthor who is stinking rich, owns half the world and a genius with unlimited resources and all he can think about is how to trip up Super man and mess with what ever he has.

She didn't HAVE to make herself miserable. She could have has a million friends gone out on the town and party every day. But she chose instead to make herself a wreck. And look at it now. Mora was even worse off then we thought. She was living in fear and uncertainty all this time that someone might find out what she is. No one says Mora isn't flawed. What character in a story isn't? But she isn't the only one. People talk as if she is the only character who is flawed and everyone else is good. Rachael is a conniving, lying, boyfriend stealing, opportunistic, ungrateful thief. And yet we hear cheers for her when she was caught taking advantage of Minos. And she doesn't even learn her lesson from it and just takes an opportunity to run off when there was work to be done. Mora always has to learn the lessons while everyone else gets to stay the same, flaws and all. Character advancement is the sign of a good character. Since no one else ever makes any attempt to fix what is obviously wrong with them Mora is actually a better character then Rachael, Miles or Alej.Rachael hasn't even apologized for what she has done up to this point.

    • Izeya

Ok you know what I'm not really going to continue arguing with you since it's like arguing with a brick wall. I've said what I wanted to say and so have you and it's obvious we're not going to change each others opinion.

    • Neku

I'm going to try to reason with you one last time before throwing my hands in the air and calling it quits as well.
About what? "God complex". Look at the conversations held over the past few pages of this comic. Don't bother with the actual logic of the posts–it's already been established what people think about the comic and its characters. Instead, look at the 'feeling' of them. The emotion to the characters, and the tone used by posters to posters. Some of us are logical, some of us are emotional, some of us are derpy and fun while others are witty and probably a tad more fun. A disagreement there, agree to disagree most times and no hard feelings.
When it's not "most times" and hard feelings are had, anger is bred? Almost every single time, it is because you are associated with the conversation and the source of the drama. If you need it worded differently: Any conversation you get into about the comic has a high chance of irritating the people you talk to, which unfortunately does include those that point out what they see as genuine logic flaws in what you say. Absolutely nobody has been universally called out as negative, except you. And yet you continue to act as if you are the single one in the right compared to everybody else.
If looking at the facts as they stand truly means nothing to you and I am "just a fan" for trying to get you to see reason that your behavior is in no way a positive contribution to the Las Lindas portion of the website, then god help you getting through life with that kind of personality.

      • Albert

Do me a favor Neku. Shut the fuck up. I have told you before do not police what I am saying, do you hear me? I am sick and tired of you telling me what to say and what not to say okay? You are getting on my nerves and I really don't care if you like what I say do you understand? I say what I have to say and I don't give a crap what you or any of your friends or supporters think about what I say.You can disagree about what I say or argue against it as much as you want but do not presume to tell me to shut up directly or in a round about way.I don't give a shit what you want or think I should do, do you understand? I am a patient person normally and prefer not to get angry but get off my damn back do you hear me. Ignore what I say if it bothers you that much but I have just as much right to argue a point as anyone else. So for the last time if you didn't get what I have been saying all this time SHUT THE FUCK UP.I am not responsible for how anyone feels about what I say. And I don't care what you think of me for saying this. Your opinion about me doesn't mean shit. You don't know me and your judgement of me means nothing.Do not bother responding cause I won't answer you or read what you wrote.

      • Neku

        &nbsp;
Does anyone else see a bit of inconsistency there, or is it just me?

      • Hallucination

Dude if you don't care what other people think then why are you arguing?

  • Steve

Moras no monster, she's just a bad apple that has the bad gene from her father that's all… That's like what happen when Luke found out that Darth Vader is his father. Do you think that Luke will join the Dark Side? No… Same situation here when Mora found out bout her father… Now I can see Randal as Han Solo and Minos as Princess Lela… >_< NOW even worse, that Solo kissed Lela… Uhmm… I'm just going to stop right there… I'll leave the rest to your guys imagination…. >_>

  • SmilingAhab

so Alej just had a lot of history she didn't know filled in. She knew Mora's dad caused a lot of grief, but if anything was cloudy to her before it's been cleared up now. At the root of a lot of hatred is either fear or ignorance. Let's hope it's brought a bit of those within Alej to her own conscious attention. She can have all the money she wants, but she'll always be miserable if she doesn't accept the fact that what's done is done and that grudges will just leave her miserable and alone.

And Mora has earned what she has – she earned a robust zell by emotionally maturing, she earned her farmhands and their trust by (mostly) catching flies with honey and being a caring manager, and she earned Ambar's respect through her determination to succeed and resourcefulness. What Alej has earned through discipline, domination and command Mora earned through nurturing, cooperation and a sense of jugaad. If only they could see how similar they both really are.

    • Albert

Very good point. If Mora had not evolved at all and was as much as a bitch as people keep claiming she was she would have thrown out Sarah, Rachael and Miles for the things they have done. Miles for his lack of work ethic, Rachael for being a thief and an opportunistic boy friend stealer and Sarah for almost destroying the farm. She took Sarah and Rachael in AFTER she found them stealing from her AND trespassing on her property and STILL keep them on after what they did. If she was really the evil bitch people paint her as she could have easily called the police and put Sarah and Rachael in jail. And when Alej hit her with the shotgun she could have easily called the police and sent her to prison for assault and attempted murder. Strange how many time Mora took the moral high ground when she could have easily done these things and would have been justified to do it but didn't and yet she is always an evil bitch to her haters.

  • Netreek

Yep. She is definatly a Monster. Just look at her breasts. Definatly Monstertits.

Jesus Christ. This is taking bad storytelling to whole new levels. So you have two characters in conflict, and you also have the protagonist's dark secret which you want to reveal. I have no idea how bad the writer has to be to completely kill the revelation's impact AND have the characters reconcile absolutely FUCKALL. If you read this comic, there are only two reasons you might be doing it. A: You're into furries and dig the fanservice, or B: You are a complete RETARD

    • RandomRedneck

I'm in group C. I dig the fanservice, and genuinely enjoy the comic.

You know, I thnik a lot of heartache and pain could have been avoided if Diana had told Mora about what her father was when she was yonger. I understand that she was trying to protect Mora, but if Diana had told her when she was younger it would have been a lot easier for Mora to deal with because down the road. Mora may not have left the farm and Diana might still be alive today. Instead it all felt cliched. Reguardless, I'll still keep reading to see what happends.

  • kitakaze

Poor Mora, she may not be totally innocent, but its not her fault where she comes from!

Also, Chalo, seriously bro, you should sweep most of these unrelated comments out, it's annoying trying to pick out the people who actually want to talk about the comic. -_-

    • Mizuotaku

Way to go, that will show them the mental capacity of America. And Nia, not all who gladly serve in the US armed forces are made of what you think. As one who has served I can tell you that they are few and far between. Vietnam was started by the French when their plantations where under attack from the Vietcong. I do think that the war in Afghanistan was justified, but that is not the case for Iraq. But this is what happens when you let a moron in charge of a large military force.

  • Mel

Holy moly… Could I humbly suggest either shutting down or moderating the comments section? It's a WEE bit out of hand, to say the least!

On the comic front – I like. :) I'm hoping Alej is just a little overwhelmed at the mo and that they'll make up properly later on, though. I for one would like to see them kiss and make up, so to speak. Minus the kissing, I suppose.

    • RandomRedneck

Yes, best to leave the kissing out. Don't want Tootsie to get jealous.

  • Anonymous

I find that the comments section helps me get through the week until the next page shows up, it's also funny to see how much passion/love/hate/loyalty/ass-kissing/Mary Sue-comparing/speculating/US-Army debating that goes on here. So far I have seen that people are really passionate about this web series and would like X X and X improvements done on character development, story pacing, the works. I have also seen people who are fed up with the Mary Sue-ish main character and her cliche, dark past but get everything she wants lifestyle (I will agree that has been happening the ENTIRE COMIC). But honestly, I'm not going to judge, why? Because I don't care what happens in this comic. I'm not very passionate, therefore, whatever happens, I'm fine with it. Albeit, there are some parts I didn't like (this arc for example), but it is a very feel good, optimistic comic and I have been enjoying it all this time. No, it's definitely not the best comic, not the worst either, but I'm entertained by it, and that's what matters to me.

And this is coming from a guy who laughed his ass of in shows like Hellsing and Elfen Lied (they're so god damned cheesy with their gore it's funny!)

By the way, the biggest Mary Sue character in the world is Homer Simpson; drunk half the time, always gets everything he wants. And if you think he is flawed, you don't know anything about the family drunken fool archetype character.

  • Deathmatch

    Happy 4th of July Chalo!

  • Random Thoughts

An interesting peace of interaction. Randal is fast becoming on of my favorite of the Las Lindas cast. He has a truly great heart. While I do not think that everything is settled between Mora and Patches, this one hopes that they will be able to take a positive step into the world w/o the as many chains to their pasts.

  • Novembersky78

Hello, this is the first time i am posting here but i've been reading it for some time now and i think its time i say hi. I feel as if i know u all already from the thought provoking comments u all have left. What can i say that might make u think as much as all of you have made me. I must say i feel a little intimidated.

  • Novembersky78

I must say i do agree with Random thoughts. Randal has a very calming presents in the story. He makes a great mediator.

  • Novembersky78

Well… thought provoking most of the time anyway.

  • Marshallfool

Why does there always have to be some sort of argument on every page?
Can't y'all just enjoy the comic?

The storyline is deeper then gender-barriers you know.

I think some people who post here just have short tempers.

    Honk Honk

  • Bad Wolf

I've been reading this comic since day one when it came out and have been here since. I fail to see how Mora is a "Mary Sue" as several readers have decided to legitimately argue giving several solid points. I am however sad to see that in the "Mary Sue" camp there are a large gather of people who'd rather throw reason out the window and hate for the sake of hating. I am Willing to hold a good conversation with people for the sake of seeing how the story develops, predictions, and at the very least be mature about it. On the other hand there are haters in the other camp who'll pick fights just for the same sake of fighting.

Mora is not perfect, we've all seen that since the first page of the comic and since then we've see how flawed she is as a character. That goes for all the characters we've seen backgrounds and flashbacks for. So Mora has the blood of a corrupted prime in her veins giving a higher rate of being able to take a physical beating, big friggen' deal. Has she acted out against other people because of the taint? Possibly, but we don't know that yet if she has or even will until the story progresses even further.

Alej's not perfect either, while her reasons and attitude may stem from abandonment issue's fromseveral key point's and people it does not excuse most of her actions, some, but not all. Yes, the story has shown the difference between how Alej took a company from a low level business to a mega-corp. through her hard work and dedication but what did it cost her in the long run?

We don't know everything, let Chalo & crew do what they're doing as they see fit.

I've said my piece and won't be saying anything else, to anyone. So go ahead and fight if you disagree with me I don't care, not that I don't respect a thought out opinion.

    • Izeya

I can list a number of reasons why Mora's a Mary Sue to me if you're willing to listen.

I'm convinced that people on the internet will always complain and argue. If they nothing to argue and complain about, then they argue and complain about not having anything too argue and complain about…

Problem: Individual feels the comic is unworthy; -insert reasoning here-
Solution: Refrain from viewing said comic

Query: Why would an individual take time out of their day to view something they consider distasteful?

Query: Why are those of modern-day internet culture MOSTLY highly-opinionated and overly vocal sods?

    Love & Tolerance, carry on.

  • Simply Put

"Don't like it, don't read it" is a terribly flawed retort. Some people find great humor in terrible shit like this. In addition, this comic's story is a great lesson in what not to put in a webcomic script, so it makes a great tutor for those who want to make their own.

  • Mizuotaku

Nia remember we are all entitled to our own views of what we do and do not like and enjoy. If this is comic is just too campy and cliched so be it, that is what the writer wants, it is not like there a cult movie out there that is not campy and filled with cliches. But that is why many do like them and gladly defend them. As the sticker states on my computer, I just don't give a fuck. I cannot wait until the next comic so we can end this trolling.

    • Godfreid

Seconded, I mean, how would you feel if someone was trying to tell you how to write your own story, and not thru constructive criticism, but just outright telling you how to do it? I don't know about you, but I would be pissed, and probably tell you to fuck off in person, and yes, I would try to hunt you down just to say it to your face, but if I couldn't do that, I'd send you a pm or email or other form of communication that has attachments so I could actually say it. </rant>

Anyways, what I am trying to say here, is, don't tell others what to fucking do with their story, it'll just get you flames in the end. In other words, FUCK OFF.

Watching some characters get tangled in their marionette strings – dancing clumsily in the shadows and holding onto the coattails of what many, many others have done before – in hopes that they'll shine in their own spotlight someday is actually really funny. Now, Chalo has some respectable art! He has a beautiful style that is pleasing to the eyes, although painful for the logically-minded. It's the only redeeming factor, however.

I've read Las Lindas from the beginning to end, and I admit from the start I had great interest in where this was going! We had an up-and-coming farm girl, facing the adversities of a small business in a highly competitive environment. Her childhood friend is a high-ranking superior in her business, and there's some serious tension between the two. There was a lot of promise in the conflict! Sometimes it fluctuated and sometimes it died, but there was some hope that the story would come out in the end as something respectable.

Well, I think it's reached its apex, and this plot twist is absolutely where the quality has just taken a nosedive into a pit of its own stink. This confrontation would have made the perfect beginning into the climax, and could have slowly eased into the resolution. An arc wherein Mora explained everything that had happened, rather than mush it all up into only a few panels, would have done some serious justice to this.

However, now it just feels as though the writers are fishing for a way to keep Las Lindas from its inevitable fate. Even the greatest, longest running webcomics have to come to an end someday. The more you toss in things out of left field, the more you jerk your users around on a choker collar, the more you drag the comic to its next update by the inking of its margins…the more likely the comic is going to meet a terrible fate. There are lines to be drawn, boundaries to be respected, and face it, some ideas are terrible for a comic like this.

All anyone can do is wait and see where it's being taken. Will Las Lindas burst like a supernova, or will it whittle its way into a black hole? I don't know, but until then, I'm going to enjoy pointing out the laughable content in the story.

      • TK

I can understand that to some degree, but at the same time I still don't understand why people come here if they absolutely hate the comic. Especially those who come here for no apparent purpose than to insult those who do enjoy the story for what it is.

I just think I could come up with more productive things to do than reading something I hate (except for school books anyways) and bitching about how much I hate it.

  • HundoA

Just notice now that Mora have big ears because of her father. /slowpoke.jpg

    Well thought Chalo. :D

  • Katzy

Oh Mora, chill yer shit, :P yer gonna be fine. Also, Ranny is the sweetest of hearts, and such~<33

  • Red

Not to complain or anything but…when's the next chapter? :)

  • Greg White

How about making Mora a wife and a mother.

    • Roi

She doesn't seen like the type of cow

      • Greg White

I think that Mora would be a great wife and mother.

  • MagicBaNaNazz

So just to get this straight, from what ive seen of the comments:
Mora is a mary sue/tainted prime
    Minos is a god
    Miles is a sex addict
Patches is a maniac with abandonment isues
    Idward is a stalker
Sarah is a dipsy (somehow) 18 year old
    Racheal is an overprotective snob
Taffy is a… Well we havent flamed taffy yet… Too trusting
    Tootsie is a closet lesbian.
Thats the main cast, according to the comments. Flame away gentlemen.

    • Not Retarded

You forgot Alej you dumb cunt

      • Hevans Judgement

Seriously…Patches = Alej >.> Learn the nicknames please before calling someone a dumb ****

      • MagicBaNaNazz

Oh really? I thought that someone as avid to defend them would know that patches is Alej's nickname. But i could be wrong, being a dumb cunt and all ;)

    • Random Thoughts

      What about Randal?

      • MagicBaNaNazz

Nothing bad to say about him

  • Anonymous

*Slow Clapping* To everyone in the comments section as of late, thank you for reminding me why I hate the internet especially you Nia. You brilliant, brilliant troll.

    • Anonymous

Damn, forgot a comma between internet and especially.

      • Simply Put

You'd probably be better off with a semicolon.

  • Godfreid

Okay, Chalo? You got anyway to lock comments or make them disappear, as this is getting WAY out of control… If I was on my comp, and just scrolled down slowly, probably would've taken at LEAST 3-5 minutes to get to bottom… Took me about 45 sec to get to bottom on iPod, and that was fast scrolling… So, I would suggest that you either disable before next page gets this long, or something, as most of it is either haters or trolls, only a some short and 2-3 long comments are actually worthwhile… So could you please do this for someone who doesn't particularly like 100 pages worth of hatred and trolling?

  • Simply Put

    @TK Several reasons.

    1. They do enjoy the comic and enjoy picking it apart. (some of the "hate" is comprised of old and new fans who are even getting bothered by this bullshit *HAHA*)

    2. They enjoy ripping the comic to shreds and don't care about who has to say something on the matter.

    3. They want to light a fire under the asses of whatever white-knighting zeroes who run to Chalo's aid for shits and giggles. If the guy hasn't publicly said anything or locked comments yet to shut people up before, he doesn't need people to protect his ass. He can clearly handle the shit that's happening and roll with the punches.

    4. People actually feed the ones who are lighting fire under their asses. (Stupid move, especially when a good percentage of exchanges are 'don't like it, go home', which is easily defeated by…the people just coming the fuck back to piss them off more) People don't like to be /wrong/.

    5. People want to see if this comic becomes more of a 'train wreck'. (It usually delivers)

    • Marshallfool

Assuming those that say, "don't like, go home", actually give more then the 2-minute-thought to the situation outside of typing the reply.

I mean really, if I don't like something and it's not within my ability (read: God-like intellect and power of persuasion) to change, I'll just spend my time on something else.

But hey, that's only my opinion.
I'd also like to remind my educated peers that their is no one infallible, "logic", and it differs from person to person.

In that sense, I can understand and tolerate those who would like to see the aforementioned changes to enhance their enjoyment.
But joint reality is not so accommodating, unfortunately.

Ultimately though, you lose credibility once a insult forms itself on your keyboard.
Especially odd ones that seem thrown together in a haste.

Anyways, it might be productive to voice these opinions to Chalo himself, if one is indeed so passionate.
Otherwise, it's just a public display of foolishness, since one can't expect someone to read through this long of a page and note all constructive criticism and feedback.

But that's all useless to mention, as it will be shunted aside by the supposedly righteous ones.
      Such is humanity.

But by all means, let's continue this great battle of words and ideals.
We stand to benefit SO MUCH from it.

Just waitin' on the next comic; I'd like to see if Randal isn't all sunshine and fancy shampoo.

  • Roi

Why do I care its not my problem

  • BIG RED

this is the same thing as Mass Effect 3. This comic is fine with great writing and because it makes you THINK about it a bit ppl are going crazy. sheesh, go back to your draginball manga if this isn't good enough for you… idiots.

  • KaV

I read the comments. Almost as funny as youtube "show comment" arguments, funny thing is that people couldn't even stay in the topic..

I believe Mora is goin become a prime, because she too nice and too good to become evil.

    • Narkhan

Or (in a shocking plot twist) her father was the son of the emperor (the on who tried to conquer the universe) and its her destiny to complete the challenge.

  • Shinsei

Nothing wrong with cliches. They exist to be used, because if they weren't then they wouldn't be cliches now would they?

  • foolish

I'm with you, there's trying to not let the past define you & then there's just this heavy handed over indulgence.

  • jarf6

It's no use arguing with him/her. Trust me.

  • Izeya

I'm going to throw in my two cents and say that yes she is an even bigger Mary sue hell she's a bigger Mary sue then Bella from Twilight I'm not even kidding. She has been given everything on a silver plate, she never had to sacrifice anything throughout the comic, she never really had to endure any hardships without really accepting the fact that sometimes it was her fault and she had to live with consequences of her actions. And with this new twist that she's the daughter of a dark prime that now all of a sudden we need to feel sympathy for her? I'm sorry she doesn't get any sympathy from me, she has no character depth within her that I could feel sorry for and I'll say that yes she is a monster her past actions have shown it.

  • Albert

I don't see why you are so adamant about Mora. Alej was ten times the bitch Mora was and yet people always pick on her. Alej is anti social, violent, self destructive, a business shark, cold hearted, friendless, jealous and self loving not to mention that she had more then Mora ever had in her life and STILL wanted her mother, the farm and hated Mora for what little she had and now we find out she might be a monster and had to hide it for years at the expense of her family and yet all we hear all the time is 'Mora such a bitch and deserves everything that happens to her and she had everything handed to her on a silver plate'.

What did she have handed to her on a silver plate? Her father left her, her mother was on the road to self destruction, she didn't look like she had much money, she was left alone to take care of her farm alone with no help and watch her home fall apart and had to do terrible things to survive and had to keep this horrible secret from everyone including her own surrogate siblings with constant fear that she might be found out and ostracized by everyone. So what exactly was handed to her? Tell me what was so wonderful that was handed to her?

  • NiaNegator

…What I want to know is where you keep getting this 'logic' from. And where in the world your bar is for an acceptable character and at what point a character can become a Mary-Sue. Because, honestly, there is no logic, and there is no valid points made against Mora. I'm sad to tell you this, but every single page all you do is play the same ol' illogical bullhorn, and those of us who know better are rather…embarassed for you sweetheart. <3

Mora, is a bitch. Yes. At the very least, with this character development, she's become a bit more mature and has learned how to solve problems without tantrums and the deadly ass and tits combo. But, is she still a bitch? Yes. Did she still use Miles like a Kleenex? Yes. Did she whoop Rachael's ass for being right about her bitch ways? Yes. Did she react in the worst way to Minos' dream? Yes. All of that is true. We've all read it.

    So…because a character is a bitch that you can't appreciate…it makes her a Mary-Sue?

See, the truth is that it's far from it. Mora has had to grow so much to be able to keep things that she's used to being expendable. No one has let her off the hook when it comes to this. Her old ways of charming and abusing have not worked here at all, and its been a hard road for her to make up for the mistakes she made while assuming she could. While I won't deny she had some Mary-Sue tendancies in the beginning, the artist has made amends and developed her personality/life so nicely that anyone who thinks she's a Mary-Sue is still living on the starting pages. Get the hell over it. Good Lord have mercy. I am a published author, I've sold books, I know when a character has been developed into a very worthwhile creation. If Mora was as horrible as you so desperatly want her to be, I'd be the first to say so, believe me. But I can honestly say that everything you're saying is just proof that you're a Mora hater. And, regardless of how much she's made up for past behavior, you're going to continue to hate despite how much logic is presented to you. I suspect a lack of social life. Oh dear, you've been pinned. *giggles*

And for the last time, Mora did not WIN the festival. Do you know why it was a tie? Because as big and efficient as Alej's company was, it had stopped growing. It had stopped improving. It was stale, a buisness that has no interest in growing is not an impressive one. Alej's company that had won the years before was the exact same company year after year. No new developments, no new risks, just boring unevolving efficiency. Mora took a virtually off the map farm and brought it back to life with the help of her friends and 'family' (aka Randal). For Ambar, for anyone really, to see a little farm stand up on its own against a corporate stale monster would be refreshing and worth a reward. Not that you can think with that kind of depth. Like I said, no matter what proof is brought to you proving otherwise, you're a determined moron. The worst kind. XD

    <3

  • Izeya

Ok where to begin…for starters Alejhandra had to start at the bottom of a corporation and had to deal with bosses that did not care for what they had. She had to give up a social life because of the constant stress of the workload that was given to her. She had a rough childhood and her parents weren't all saints either hence why she thought of Mora's mother and her own mother and when Mora left she felt betrayed. When she finally reached the top of the corporate ladder she could finally feel like she accomplished something in her life.

Now onto Mora she struggled to keep the farm alive yes but when she went to get help she used her sexuality to sucker people into working for her or would blackmail some of them into staying. When Amber came to Mora she pretty much gave her all the resources to be part of the competition that Alej was in and within a few months the time came to the end and when the winner was both Mora and Alej, Alej was devastated. She worked her whole life to get where she was and suffered for years while Mora was at her level in only a few months which when you think about it is completely unfair. Mora never had to make any of the difficult choices that Alej had to, she never had to lose her social life and had people around her even though she treats them like dirt and she's never had to work hard in her life to be as successful as Alej.

  • Neku

Brat A: "No, you're wrong, this one's the hero and that one's the villain."
Brat B: "No, YOU'RE wrong, that bitch is in the wrong compared to your "villain" and we all know it."
Everyone else: "They're both wrong in their own ways and right in some as well. Shut up and accept it." Both of you are right about the negative experiences you're pointing out and neither of you really wants to pay attention to the positive posted by the other. So for the sake of not flooding the response board, please just shut up, get with the times about acceptance, and move on.

  • Neku

P.S. Izeya, from the position of the responses, Albert's reply was to Nia's original post, not to yours. Otherwise he would have been offset a little more to the right. Unsure if you knew when replying, and probably doesn't change your response's intentions.

  • Izeya

If Amber told Alej to cool it yeah that would make it worse but it would give Alej an even bigger insentive to have revenge against Mora and ultimately have both of them face severe consequences.

  • Kurai

A mary sue is a self insert character that has no flaws, or if they do they're ones everyone overlooks and loves them anyway, they are a 'hero' of a story that just is a hero for no other real reason then they're the main character. So the universe bends bass-ackwards over for them.

The reason people are calling Mora a Mary Sue is because
    1. She has literally had everything handed to her, and didn't have to work hard. She worked hard on the farm for a little bit, but everything after her tiny time of struggle was thrown at her

    2. Everyone loves her and stays, despite her constantly being an asshole to them. They just take it and love her despite how poorly and harshly she treats the people who love her

    3. Her father is an evil prime, which is what people are saying is her excuse to be bitchy/cruel. "In an effort to make their characters more attractive without having to do the leg work of natural character development, the authors just add some of these superficial traits to their character." from TVtropes.org. It's predictable. Oh look, someone is the son/daughter of some higher power (whether it be good or bad)

She is cliche as all hell, and all the bad things about Las Lindas. Both Alej and Mora have their bad points, but Mora's is so much more predictable and bland: a spoiled little brat everyone loves(self insert mary sue), who happens to be the daughter of a great evil prime(cliche character plot), who had everything handed to her after she tried to blackmail and cheat people into working for her(self insert mary sue), who has never evolved as a charter except caring about digit(no character development), who has insane super powers even if it's from her dad(mary sue inhuman traits), and the flaws she does have everyone ignores(zero character development and the fact it's a self insert mary sue).

  • Hallucination

@kurai: I am inclined to disagree with you and I tried to look completely through the comic again to make sure I had actual evidence but unfortunately I don't have the patience so please help me in giving specific examples of your arguments so one of us can maybe be convinced. I do have one observation though: she isn't just being a bitch to her friends, I've seen her reprimanding Miles for being a lazy prick. I'll look for more. @Nia: please don't use "tl;dr fuck you" arguments because that's not arguing it's just being extremely opinionated

  • NiaNegator

Thanks for proving my point sweetie <3 I didn't even have to lift a finger. You keep on being a determined person of extreme ignorance, okay? ;)

  • Kurai

    @Hallucination
I just listed examples. A lot of them. I am not going to go through the comic and point out every page it happened on. You can reread it and see that everything I say is what happened, and why people are using this to say Mora is a Mary Sue.

Hey now, there's no need to be insulting towards the Armed Forces. Sure, there have been a few campaigns that have had questionable motives and less than favorable outcomes but the fact remains, that they have either fought for or given their lives so that you can enjoy the freedoms you are taking for granted. You're free today to sit on your ass in front of a computer today because they served. Show some respect.

  • Spiritwolf15

@ Nia: Um… Who said I was American? Before you try to insult someone you should at least learn to tell the difference between an American and A Canadian, myself being of the latter.

Who said I was even talking about the American Armed Forces alone? I was speaking about Armed Forces in general. They all deserve your respect.

  • Hallucination

@spiritwolf15: try not to pay attention to nia the Internet turns people into MAJOR assholes because you'll probably never meet anyone you talk to in person. I've been a dick to some people myself so it's usually unreliable to assume they act the same way in face-to-face conversation. But such open disrespect for people who are willing to fight and die for other people's safety is extremely narcissistic.

You people seem to forget there alien animal people, so human rules don't count for them, well she the main chacater its how it is.

  • RandomRedneck

Dude, Nia, if you hate the comic so much, quit reading it.

  • Roi

But can't you tell that all Mora was doing is telling why she left home. To the other cow and Dog, To explain her Actions. Her Dad was there like for a reason for why she did it. Its like a fun fact of knowing what he was and look like. In order to make Mora and Alej closer there would need to be something dramatic for Alej to understand why she left. The monster and Dark Prime stuff is just foreshadowing for now

  • Roi

Whats in this story is more original then what you said. what the some old boring rich or dead beat dad.
Believable, those are talking furry alien people.

  • Biblioholic

… you people took a comment that asked "Why are we fighting"… and proceeded to fight below it.

Can you not live and let live? How many times must you repeat it all? Nobody has made a single new point on this page pertaining to this fight. I know, I've checked.

Let it go you childish fools. It's done. We all get it. One of you doesn't like the comic and the other one doesn't like people saying that they don't like the comic. It matters not one iota because no fucks are given for this anymore.

Shut the fuck up and agree to disagree like rational, reasonable human beings. We've ESTABLISHED THAT IT BOTHERS YOU! We've ESTABLISHED <b>WHY</b> IT BOTHERS YOU! We've ESTABLISHED THAT WE DON'T LIKE FREEDOM OF SPEECH HERE DESPITE THE FACT THAT EXPRESSING THAT FACT USES SAID LIBERTY! Logic has ALREADY been thrown out the window on MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS! There is NOTHING TO BE GAINED FROM THIS AND YOUR STUPIDITY IS MOUNTING TO THE POINT WHERE MY SLOW-ASS COMPUTER IS TAKING FUCKING FOREVER TO PROCESS IT ALL!

    GET LAID! ALL OF YOU!

  • RandomRedneck

I just want to point out the incorrect use if "Uncanny Valley" in Nia's previous post. Uncanny Valley isn't a story thing, it's an appearance thing.

  • Geraldo

I would say that coming out and saying that she's the daughter of an evil demigod is more being a woobie than a mary sue. She is not portrayed to be perfect, she is not portrayed to be completely without causality. What is she doing now but suffering for her actions?

It's a sitcom-ish style. Get over it, they'll all have happy endings in the end and not everything in mass media is portrayed as reality. You'd think that a comic where the romantic interest to the main character can literally chuck boulders like a trebuchet AS WELL AS possessing a tendency to spout sagelike wisdom and an interest in art would be a little obvious of a contestant that would fit into the "not reality" category.

Sue him for not making an absolute masterpiece, show him up and prove you're better than him.

  • TK

If you don't like the comic and think it can be done better than get off your butt and make a better one, otherwise shut the hell up about it and either read it and enjoy it or go away.

  • TK

    Nope.

Not ass kissing, but don't really care for people who think "THEIR" vision for the comic/book/art is the right one and the artist/writer is an idiot if they don't bow to their whims over it.

Look, this is THEIR work, either enjoy it for what it is (a silly, light read) or don't. But bitching and complaining that the author isn't following YOUR vision for the comic is absolutely ridiculous.

I've left several web comics because I disliked the change of direction the author took. I simply can't understand the fascination with following something you don't like.

  • Hallucination

Nia I think you missed an important(in my opinion) question here, if you don't like the comic so much then why keep reading it? Are you hoping it'll get "better"(beauty is in the eye of the beholder) if you keep reading? Please explain this to us as we are all tired of your " fuck this shit you fucking fan fuckers this fucking sucks" flames (this is how you really come off to me)

  • Hallucination

So you get off on your cynicism? Your narcissistic behavior worries me as every word I have seen you post has been insulting others in one way or another, but usually intelligence "ye of simple mind." "I'll explain because the answer should be obvious." obvious how? Nobody can read your FUCKING mind, I don't see how this is so much like a train wreck because the delay of several days between new comics is like watching a train wreck and pausing it saying "oh here's the good part" then coming back and watching it again.

  • TK

No, Nia. I'm not saying you shouldn't hate it. Not every story is for every person, I happen to like this comic and come back here ever week to see how it unfolds. I don't care if you find it corny, badly written, etc. I enjoy the story for what it is, a story.

I dislike/hate a lot of stories, but I'm not going to insult those who do like them by saying it sucks because it doesn't fit with my "MY VISION" says it should of been and that the writing is bad because it doesn't fit my style, I simply move on and read something else.

  • TK

And some people like the story just the way it is, light, predictable and funny.

No author is going to be able to please 100% of the genre audience and should write the story they want, if you don't like it, why are you here? Why are you taking up your time when you could be reading something you do enjoy?

There are alot of books/comics/art/music styles I hate, I'm not after the author to change their style to fit me, I find authors who fit the style I like and read them instead.

    Pretty basic concept here folks.

  • unthinkably swag

    so i heard.
