Did you plan to have taffy as a reacuring character from this early in the strip?

Well if you've caught up with the newest update yet, you can see that there were plans involving that "run from the monster" stuff earlier. Those plans have only just been revealed recently (June 2012). So yeah, there was clearly a LOT of hidden plans, right from the start.
