    No, it’s when you really hurt the ones you love that causes you to realize that you have a problem. Alej doesn’t want to kill Mora, and for a second there she thought she had, which caused her to realize that she does still love Mora as a sister, just like she always has.

    These aren’t “cow-sized” cows. These are relatively human-sized, which means smaller heads. Shotgun stocks are also made of solid wood and that was broken really easy. Super-strength or not, achieving that is pretty difficult.

I think the whole reason Mora and Alej acted the why they did is because they were two halves of a whole and they need to be together. Now they can be whole again. Yay.

Finally they are going to become friends again. Alej was getting extraordinarily childish and psychotic and I thought nothing would snap her out of it but she seems to have finally got that Mora is trying to make amends and help her. I think it will be a better comic from now on with Mora and Alej behaving like sisters again. I always thought they would make a great dynamic duo since BATB when she and Mora where fighting together to save Vixy. I still remember that pic with them standing side by side and all I could think was Batman and Robin. This is definitely better then Mora getting a concussion or going into a coma or Alej having to punished for hitting Mora over the head.

Very similar to how I might my best friend for high school. lol He smacked on the head with his math book in 7th grade after we got into a stupid argument and I dumped my drink on his lap. I looked at him, and started laughing. Then he did, too. We didn’t see each other again for two years and we laughed about it again and started hanging out. I know I should have been pissed, but it was just so unexpected it was funny. lol (even more amusing because math is what i was best in hehe)

Mora was a brat but now is maturing nicely. Alej had a nervous breakdown but seems to be coming out of it. Both are good characters. Any arguements now about who is right or wrong or has the moral advantage is pretty much meaningless. They are both in a point of transition. The best option for the audience now would be to avoid sniping back and forth and just sit back to watch what unfolds for a few comics.

I hope this proves what i have been saying all the time about Mora being a nice person. She could have easily gotten up and hit her back or called the police but instead she flipped it off and just continued talking as if nothing had happened. THIS is a true hero moment, to take the high road instead even in a situation like this when you would have every right to hit her back or charge her for assault. When Rachael tried to take Minos away and Sarah almost destroyed Digit she had every right to throw them out but she allowed them to stay. Mora is more mature and heroic then many people are in this comic and many people can’t seem to see that. I would have gotten up and called the police, friend or not. You could have damn well killed me.

    Like it or not, she is a Mary Sue. The plot is centered around her success no matter how much or little her character deserves it. And there are enough points that agree with both “do” and “don’t” that it’s easy to say either.

    She’s had a history of short temper and aggression, was only saved from lack of manpower for the farm by Minos, was only saved from bankruptcy by Ambar (even with her “good” crew of workers, Digit was the saving grace of the farm), spent a great deal of time being a bad girlfriend to Minos, fought with Rachel after the previous point caused conflict (the only potentially justified violent act she’s done so far in my opinion), was only saved from losing Digit because Rachel risked her life for it (despite being angry over the previous point AND having the option to go on the run again), and after a long break of her character maturing, made the mistake of assuming Patches’ rage was based solely around a high school crush gone wrong. Her character, up until Digit was nearly killed on accident, a selfish brat. Her current maturity and success is only thanks to her Mary Sue’ing through the first roughly one half of the comic.
    (In before the legion of Mora fans try to grill me for allegedly hating her, despite that I voted “I agree with Mora more” on the recent poll.)

    It isn’t Mora’s fault Minos had connections, she didn’t want to accept the High Prime’s help at first. Mora apologized Minos are you forgetting that? Mora chose to not kick Rachael out of the farm so it shows she was grateful. Also Mora isn’t the brightest bulb and had no evidence to think otherwise, so I can understand why she thought it was because of a crush even though it was really stupid.

Maybe the male equivalent of slightly over-the-top ironic mary sue powers will be granted to him then. Well that was incredibly… disappointing.
I was expecting more. Not some cliche “oh she’s the main character so she’s always going to be alight crap”. All this build up and Mora just shrugs it off like nothing and Alej just buckles under. (Albeit, it is for her own good.)

I was just really hoping for something more dramatic and realistic. Then again, this IS a comic about talking cows. :/

  How is this cliche? What would you have preferred? Some coma soap opera junk? Them to start fighting and ripping each other apart? Mora starting to cry that it’s her fault.Would that have been any less cliche? Don’t try that holier then thou crap. Most people thought that Mora was hurt bad or in a coma and I am sure you were just as shocked to see her shake it off. If it was so cliche then everyone would have seen it coming a mile away. Never seen anything like it when people are so obsessed with wishing bad things would happen to the heroine. She is the hero and Alej is practically the villain.No matter how sorry you feel for the villain that is what they are. I feel sorry for Harley Quinn all the time and I don’t cheer when she does bad things to Batman despite his flaws. Mora is the hero people, get over it.

    But I still see this as extremely cliche. Now if Mora had ended up in the hospital and Alej had spiraled into an even worse depression because of what she had done, then THAT would be interesting to see. It’s not a matter of a good sappy outcome, but an interesting and gripping story.
    Las Lindas is just becoming more and more predictable. And that’s just a really bad put off for me.
    
    So sue me for liking darker, deeper stories. It’s my fault for expecting something like that out of this comic.

Alej is my hands down favorite of these too. She is just flat out hotter than Mora. I loved how she was a “Take Charge” in your face kind of character, but I have to admit. It would be awesome to see her show her soft side and make amends with Mora.

Well, possible angles from this.

A) Mora is actually hurt, but is trying to keep Alej from worrying. We’ll see her laid up with a throbbing headache and the like for a few days and be a miserable pain to everyone around her.

B) Alej is going to work on trying to keep the company, with Tootsie on her side (after some growling back and forth). She may lose some control of the company, but she won’t lose the whole company.

C) The rest of the cast will be thinking she’s gone nuts for INVITING Alej over to the farm

A few things that I predict are likely to happen. As to what DID happen, its one of the things I figured would happen. And as stated, Primes are a lot tougher and stronger. Minos regularly performs Herculean tasks on the farm like its perfectly normal.

  D) Between Randal’s desires, Mora’s plea for peace, and Tootsie’s support, she joins the Las Lindas crew. Or at least takes a vacation there.
  
  E) The temporary peace had at the Las Lindas home (along with the allusion to old times pointed out by Gonzo) awakens the spirit. Digit gets a friend.
  
  E2) Digit either loses the friend due to Alej getting a renewed work vigor, or peace goes on longer and we see two spirits working together ish.

  I think it’s called a “ponytail”. You know, place the hair behind the head and bind it with a stretchy ring of some kind (preferably hair-ties or scrunchies).
  On a less condescending note, I don’t think the hairstyle is traditionally done for people. To have the hair long enough to be bound so low (as opposed to a traditional ponytail being as close to the head as possible) takes a pretty abnormal length and strong binding.

also going top point something out here, alej broke a gun stock on the back of moras head, after breaking the same stock off of the gun itself with her bare hands, if that alone doesnt day that the strength of said stock can be compromised i dont know what would.

Whether fiction or real whether with made up characters or not your reaction and how you relate to it is still real.The people who write these things have put real personalities and real situations into their work. The way you react to it says something about you whether you want to admit it or not.   I think, for me, it’s the way her ears drape over her shoulders. It’s just one of those little details that gives credibility to the character and shows the artist really taking his time.

@ revilnemesis3. I am sure I think I blame Rachael more. She is the one who started this obsession over him. Minos wasn’t interested in Rachael at all and she was the one that kissed him not the other way around. She took advantage of him. But the problem is that people always blame the guy in situations like this. Minos is more innocent they Rachael. Rachael is used to trying have everything her way and not to mention she is a thief as well. So I think her morals are slightly more lacking then Minos’s. No matter how you look at it trying to take advantage of someone that you know is having relationship problems when they are most vulnerable is a pretty low thing to do. If they had already broken up that’s a different story.
