It is a lovely comic, Alej’s eyes have never looked a more beautiful shade of blue before.
I bet that her nano-spirit awakens soon. Now that she’s starting to come to terms with the darkness in her own heart it’s the perfect time.

Yeah I noticed that too. She is putting up a brave front but her head obviously still kind of hurts. Glad to see they are getting things out in the open. Now I understand why Alej didn’t come to the funeral.She actually has a gentle look in her eyes. I haven’t seen anything like that in the whole comic. She usually had a cold look in her eyes. Now I am sure we will hear why Mora left and I am sure we will all understand better why she did it and stop hating on her. Also Randal is looking quite satisfied don’t you think? I think he is glad to see his sisters finally making up.

Not enough dark humor these days. I don’t know why they call it trolling. You’re only making a little joke. I mean, it’s pretty dark humor, but it’s so dark it’s humorous. It doesn’t sound like you’re rooting for Alej to strike at Mora again. You’re just satirizing the consequences of the blow if it was fatal. And you’ve known it wasn’t: first Chalo implied it in the description and now that she’s recovered it seems even more unlikely. I mean, does everybody have to gang up on you for that…?

Finally, everyone understands Alej is not a monster. She’s a genuine person who does care about others. Go Alej!!! <3
Glad to see that they are working things out and Alej finally explains what really happened, I knew she had a soft spot deep down! Mora did a pretty good job of reaching out to her old friend, it will be interesting to see what results this development will yield… as far as their relationship is concerned.

Man, such a coincidence. I haven’t read this comic for 2 years, I come back to reread it, and once I reach the last page, I refresh and the comic is updated!
I love Las Lindas.
I still want to know about Mora’s father. We understand her mother was a strong, independent woman, but Mora’s ears makes me wonder who her father is. Yea, I am odd.
I just want to see Patches really smile again. For the right reasons.

Finally, some closure. Ah, I do enjoy it when a story actually has real character development instead of prolonging the issues because its the only way to keep the story “alive”. Will Alej be visiting Las Lindas more often now? I kinda hope so. Its her home, too, after all.
Mora’s still hurtin. lol
Alej is the best character ever for me. Even if she made horrible mistakes, she is still good inside. May be even angelic one. But angel is hidden very deep.

I think some of you read too much into the comic..
Looks like after many years, Alej is finally starting to let down her defenses and starting to relax emotionally.

Understatement, from what I’ve read some people wanted this to get complicated even more when Alej broke the butt of the shotgun in Mora’s skull and all other sorts of nefarious deeds (hiding a body etc)
Plus all that talk of characters being a “mary sue” is ridiculous, IMO some readers have very sad train of thoughts to be so concerned of COMIC characters like live people o_o;;;
If this were live on TV like a soap it would have such a following it’s not even Funny.

Well crud, now you need a new antagonist~
If a new antagonist is needed, I have feeling it will come in the form of whoever is looking for Sarah.
While I like there being a plot with Alej in it, I really hoped for something more along the lines of her winning big over Mora to set the rivalry back to at least a draw in terms of score, rather than her joining the winning team which it looks like.
Great comic again, there is lots of emotion, and finally an explanation. I wonder how the plot further develops, now that Alejandra no longer real competition to Mora.
Wow, Alej is actually someone with a heart, that is something that pleased me.
This is a great page: the sun through the trees in the first panel is awesome; Alej seems to be more at peace with herself and Mora now that she explained why she wanted to buy Las Lindas in the first place; Rannie’s got a different-colored shirt, and the possibility of renewed friendship is sure to appear eventually…
Here’s hoping for a proper conclusion to this story arc–it’s been really great!!

Ok this page did change my opinion of alje a little bit sense all ive seen of her most of the time is just trying to take the farm away and before any of you say anything im not a fan of mora or alje it’s sarah
also look at mora’s face on the first pannel she looks completely lost
Randal’s pose and closed eyes look put the sudden mental image of Brock (Pokémon) in my head. o.o
Aside from that, resolution and respite are always nice. Especially when it’s this well drawn.
I like this, especially how Alej says things have to be brought out in the open. We’re finally seeing how the animosity came about. It was all a mask to cover the anger at herself rather than anything anger against Mora. I think we may have them become close friends again…or friendl rivals. Whoo…here’s a CRAZY idea, with Alej’s smarts and Mora’s heart imagine the team tey could make. Las Lindas would be a might force to be reckoned with.
The best heel turns occur right after they convince you that they’ve reformed.

Anyway, this page makes me smile; it’s one thing to catch up with each other after a lot of bad blood…it’s another thing entirely to try and reconcile with each other, and I think that’s what we’re seeing in this page

Sometimes it does us all good to remeber.That there is always a 2 sides to every story.And not to be so fast to judge others.Although thats easyer said than done.Patchs seems to let some of her anger go for now at least.Alej has a heart and for her to admit to toots shes not o.k.So does this mean that mora and alej will become closser.It could go ether way so its still a 50/50 chance.Only time will tell.So every body hang on the ride is about to get wild.My opinon on things.

I know she is healing and trying to do better but the ‘I don’t either’ still makes her seem egotistical. How could she not think she is a bad person? She has done a lot of bad things.I know a lot of people like to jump to Alej’s defense but she was basically the bad guy.A bad guy with a troubled past but a bad guy none the less.I understand why she did the things she did but that doesn’t make her not a bad person. Harley Quinn in Batman doesn’t think she is a bad person or that the things she does is bad and I feel sorry for her but face it Alej was rather cruel, anti-social and basically a business shark. She didn’t lack friends or comrades for no reason at all you know.To make it worse she sounded like she was basically trying to strong arm the farm away from both Mora and her mother when she knew damn well she didn’t want her to have it.A deeply troubled woman, yes. An angel? No.

Alej is one of my favorite characters of LL, and now she is showing us a cute side of her, nice *.*
Sorry, I know this is a nice moment for both Alejandra and Mora, and no disrespect to “Mora-lovers” but I still don’t like her.
So could one of Alejandra’s resentments twords Mora be that she was not accepted by a woman she considered a mother in lue of a daughter that wasn’t there. And that sounded like a sweet deal, pity Mora’s mother didn’t accept, guess stubbornness runs in the family.
good to see alejandra is getting back to square one there. she’s not entirely kosher in the emotional state, but she admits there’s a problem and that’s a big step for her
Problem is, I thought we’d already been here before. I could have sworn we’d seen her start to mature as a character a few chapters ago. At least we’re finally back on track.
Looks like Alej is starting to realize that she was out of control, and now the repairs on her heart are finally beginning.
The War is far from over, those two maybe finally bridging the gab between them, but they still have many battles that await them. Bring it on..!

While I find t his sudden change from psychotic bitch back to Alex’s more developed character we’ve seen before slightly jarring, I’m very happy that the story seems to be back on track. Thank god. Her rabid bizarre behavior this last chapter or so felt out of character.

Thank you redemption ^__^ I’m glad Alej is on her way to changing – seeing her as a homicidal psycho was making me sad. But as soon as I saw that spirit gem pop up in her hands, I knew some type of change would be coming soon

Or for that matter, have we ever seen any evidence that any of the female characters ever wear any kind of brassiere? I’m not currently bored enough to do an archive crawl to do an underwear survey, so I’m leave that to some enterprising young deviant who needs a challenge.
Once for Sarah in “Ticklebug”, if you count such an undershirt as ANYTHING bra-like. Twice on Taffy in “Revenge”, with Rachel sporting a pink piece much like Sarah’s “Ticklebug” purple one. Thrice when Mora was in a white lace bra on “Making Love”.
(For those wondering if there are any human females, look at “Rachael? Cuddly?” Either that’s an elf, a fur-less cat, or a human with an odd hairstyle.)
Four times in “Sick of Playing Dress-up”, if a single cameo counts where Sarah resented it for the one frame she had it on. Supposedly. Five times if Taffy’s getup in “Curious about you” counts. We may count Six if what’s in panel three of “Inspiration” is a sports bra. It’s up for debate if the Nymph-Muses’ natural forms have leaf-bras. It’s slightly less up for debate if “Down Memory Lane” features a young adult Alej in a pink bra for #8.
So at least five bras with four visible, potentially a sports bra or two, and if not, a couple cases of at least keeping just that area covered.
